I just had a snowblower described to me by one of the guys at the local farm implement dealership. He said it was made for non-live pto tractors like my 8N. It is a v-shaped plow, pto-powered, with blowers on each side and an auger to deliver the snow to the blowers; fits on the 3 point hitch. You drive your tractor forward, through the snow, pulling this snowblower. Anyone ever heard of such a thing, or better, have a picture of one, or best, have any experience with one? Thanks.

Great pictures! Just what I needed to see; now I know what one of these looks like. Where did you get yours, and what make is the very nice front lift? Looks like a perfect setup. How does it do on wetter snow?

On heavy wet snow it does become clogged pretty quickly, I then use it like a box blade (turn off PTO) and drag the snow down the lane to a place I can push it off the road. If you're weather gives alot of wet snow, I really wouldn't recommend it but in my climate in Southern Ontario, it is the envy of all the neighbors.

The loader was made by Davis Mfg and was called Skyline. It is the best loader made for the Ford N in my opinion. Strong and Pretty. You can see them in local farm equipment advertisements from time to time.

The local buy& sell advertisements was where I picked up this blower.

john

A friend had an older version with a single impleer, you could pull it behind OR turn it around and push it..... didn't work work a hoot either way. Just loved to be plugged up. There may be some that work but I wouldn't drag his home if he gave it to me.... For what it's worth... duey
