I have the lift cylinder out and the piston is at the bottom.

Any trick way to get it out?

Otherwise, I will make a plate with an o-ring and fitting to pump oil in to push it out.

Thank you
Charlie

If you have the cylinder off and don't have compressed air to force the piston out. You can force the piston out as I did by placing a board on the bloor and banging the open end of the cylinder against the board. The piston will eventually move to the open end for easy removal unless the piston is rusted into the cylinder. The best way is still using compressed air.

After you remove the cylinder from the housing you will see a hole that the Hydraulic Fluid goes in. Wrap a towel around the cylinder loosely and use the blow gun on a air hose put the tip in the hole and just blow a little air in it. The towel will keep the piston from flying accross the shop when you do it if you used to much air. Mark H.

Compressed air is a good way to remove it. Use extreme caution when removing the piston with compressed air. It can come out with great force.

Charlie, I used a little air pressure and popped mine right out. If you have access to an air compressor, thats the easiest way to do it. HTH, Buckeye
