'53 Jubilee,6 volt w/positive ground.
New plugs, points, condenser and wires about two weeks ago. Ran perfect last weekend. Now I have no spark.
I have 6.3V at the coil on Bat. side and Dist. side.
At dist. I have 6.3V w/points open and 3.4V with points closed.
I have continuity through the plug wire from inside dist cap to plug end.(Using #4 to check for spark)
Tested the coil by removing small wire from dist. terminal of coil, and using a jumper wire to ground, I get a bright blue spark that jumps almost 1/4" air gap(touching the dist cap center post with a screwdriver and holding shank of screwdriver close to ground.)
Temporarily unhooked the condenser and it makes no difference...still no spark.
Yes, I made sure the copper strip inside the distributor is not grounded and already tried bypassing the ignition switch.
Where do I go from here?

P.S. I even checked continuity through the rotor!

Eddie..... .....I wish they were all this simple.....(grin)
You write..... .."At dist. I have 6.3V w/points open and 3.4V with points closed" ..... . this means that your points have burned and have a resistance and that resistance cutsdown your sparkies so your engine won't run..... ..

Should be obvious, you need new ignition points and don't contaminate them by touching them with anything "OILEY", that means squeekie clean feeler gauge and not fingers prints eather.

But if you just gotta run this weekend, and the parts store is closed, you might beable to limp by file-ing the points but they ain't gonnna last very long..... ....Dell

Thanks Dell.
Looks like I gotta get to the tractor parts store before noon tomorrow.
Just curious, what reading should I get at distributor with points closed?
Another question...Should you lubricate the cam surface of the distributor shaft, and if so,with what?

Eddie..... .....should read about "zero" volts at the distributor points/coil wire with the POINTS CLOSED. My rule of thumb is NO MORE THAN 1/2 VOLTS. Points closed are ground and ground should be zero. Unfortunately, there are metal-to-metal joints which can become corroded and cause voltage losses.

Yes, there is some special distributor cam lube that I use, comes in a mini-toothpaste tube..... ..Dell

Get another condenser. Preferably from another dealer. He may have gotten a bad batch. And yes they do come bad from the box.
