Just got back from an auction. A 45 2N in almost
showroom condition. Sheet metal almost perfect.
Painted blue belly colors, good paint. Young couple bought it. Did my heart good, when he shook his head sideways she did the bidding. Ran excellent, recent overhaul. 12.4 tires, very good
tread. Brake locks I'd never seen before, levers
about a foot long with cams on end mounted on
2 bolts on side cover. Pull lever up and cam holds
brake lever down. Made by "Rottinghaus" Jessup,
Iowa. Also a sherman step-up.

Tractor $3100
Plow 2-12 $300 (different buyer)
Chains $50 (excellent condition)
Heavy 6 ft. blade $200
5 point attachment slusher "Scoopmaster" brand $85
Cord wood saw W/pto pulley attachment $145

I also refered them to this website, as he was not familiar with 3 pt. etc.

Beautiful day for an auction or any other outdoor
activity.

Jet

I was at an auction yesterday in Northwest Illinois and two 9N/2N tractors in dirty but running condition with decent sheet metal in the gray/red belly colors went for $900 and $1100. No sherman, just standard 9N/2N tractors with working hydraulics, one converted to 12 volt. It made me sad not to buy one. But I picked up a Dearborn Loader with a trip bucket for my 2N for $30.

It was a bit chilly but not too bad.

Thanks,

Dave. :-)
