I have a ford 9n with a 240 6 cylinder in it. All of the oringinal wiring switches and gauges have been removed. I'm looking for a wiring diagram to wire in the alternator amp gauge ignition switch and starter selniod. It is all ford set up including alternator and starter seliniod. A diagram would make this a simple and hopefully a one time task with no shorts. Thanks in advance John

I don't have a complete diagram on my PC rite this second, but here's a couple of helpful hints. Run ignition power from Ign Sw. to 'A' and 'S' on the VREG, just tie them together. Run a wire from 'F' on the VREG to the F (field) terminal on the alternator. You don't need the light if you use an ammeter, so ignore the 'I' terminal completely. That has powered my 54 Ford Tudor for about 11 years now
Good Luck

Thanks Jim, but there won't be a voltage regulator on this tractor. It's built in to the alternator. John

ED, I found and copied your wiring diagram from the archives. But I have another question. What is the side marker double contact blade type Ford gm jeep? Is this for an idiot light? Thanks John
