Need help wiring an ampmeter with two posts. It doesn't move one way or the other. I've got a wiring diagram with the original style ampmeter (one wire runs thru it)but I can't seem to get it to work with the two posts. It still has the 6 volt set-up.Your help will greatly be appreciated.

WE are restoring a 48 m series in my auto body class and we have the same problem as well as it wont charge. Nor will it stay running when we pull the cable off. Would you plz send me a copy of the diagram. We have been playing for a week and 2 days. Ha! Thank you...
