Will I be able to take off the old fan and put on a new one without taking off the hood and radiator? Are there just a few bolts to take out just to put on a new fan or is there more to it than that? I want to put on a new fan because the old one has several of the blades that are bent up some and I think is causing a little vibration. You all are a great resource and I thank you for your advice and responses.

I just removed a pusher fan and installed a puller fan on a 9N that I'm selling. I thought I could just slip it out. NOPE. Had to remove the hood.

Watch when you remove it they stick and sometimes you need to knock them loose, don't hit the radiator with it put some card board between the fan blade and radiator. Mark H.

There are just four 1/4 inch bolts that hold the fan to the water pump. Take them out and it will come right off.

You might be able to get it loose without taking off the hood but I doubt you'll get it out of there with the radiator hoses, ignition parts, and doglegs in your way.

Nothing to stop you from trying though.
