Had a little trouble posting some pics the other day. For those of you who didn't get the pics, I wanted to post again. Let me know what you think of this tractor. This is the project my Dad and I worked on together. We had a lot of help from this board so we wanted to share the (mostly) finished product with you. Thanks.

Wow is all I can say. Get bigger shed though, I don't think it will fit now that it is all together.

Scott, your tractor looks great. Are you going to retire the tractor or keep it on light duties? Philip

Philip,

The tractor probably will not be doing any heavy work, just some light duties. Would like to take it to a show every once in a while, but I still want to use it for small things, so at least it won't just be sitting around. :)

Scott

Scott: You and your Dad should be very proud! You've got a parade ready tractor now that could serve as a workhorse for another fifty years or so!

Scott, the tractor looks good. And I am sure that you will always cherish having spent time with your Dad in that project.

A question about the Ford script on the fenders and hood. Did you use decals or did you paint them on?

Charles,
I ordered a set of painting masks, but was a little disappointed in them. They did not stick well at all, and allowed overspray. Afterwards, I had to take a very fine brush to sharpen the edges on the script, and to cover the overspray. However, using the masks was still probably easier than trying to hand-paint the script.
