I need to know the size socket to remove the front pulley bolt. Looks like a 1-3/8" but would like some feedback. It needs to be a deep socket and the few places here (even SEARS!) doesn't seem to have them. Thanks again and enjoy the pic of me sipping an MGD in mid December, working on '44 #2.

Happy everyting....holidays, New years, N'ing and so on ;)

15/16? I just walked out and checked. You are talking about the front pully bolt, correct? If you are going to pull off the pully, Use an impact and then put it back in half way. You will probably need a gear puller to remove the pully, and the bolt head makes a good pin point.

Nice Pic!

Took a tape measure... read about 1-3/8". I'll snag my calipers fom work (precision, eh?) and take a gander.

Oh yeah, that CHAIR (was in the house) was replaced by a $2500 massage chair (wife's gift to us)... It makes working on the N in the garage more comfy AND... (belch) there's a fridge in the garage. Drop on by and sip some suds...
