Live in a subdivision, and some idiot builders next door decided my back yard would handle their drainage. A box blade is my next purchase. I looked at a few Fords, couple of Allis offerings, and even a Farmall. Thanks to a guy named Bill S. that told me to rock the rear tires and check the bearings. kept me from buying headaches. Got a 9N/2N (don't know YET, can read a serial #) for $1900 starts every time, already 12V, but i'll change the one wire alt over to the 1-2 plug, or I may even go FORD alt with external VREG. (I work for Case/New Holland's electrical reman operation Megavolt and don't mind a challenge with wires on it) What are the right headlights/worklight/taillight for this girl? Dell knows his stuff too. Thanks everybody!

COngratulations on your new tractor. I have gotten so much done on my property in such a short time with mine, and am forever dreaming up new projects. I agree with the post that said to talk to the builder about your problem. If there is an existing drainage easement across your property then they may be out of luck, but if there isn't, the builder is liable for restoring the drainage across your property back to the way it was before, including removal of any sediment that may have accumulated.

Don't forget to get a "ZANE THANG" position control device for that tractor when you get it up and going. Your going to need it with a box blace etc.

See the link below for more information.

I agree! After a year with mine using it to mow and blade, I wouldn't want to be without it.

Jim, Did you discuss the water problem with the builder? He should have to fix it. If he won't there are state agencies that handle such things. Check with you're state DEC.
