I just bought something on Ebay that may make me repaint my tractor.

Here is the cover of a 1946 Ford Ferguson Dealer calendar, which coincidentally is the year of my 2N. Sure, the red and grey she currently is painted looks flashy and all, but that blueish grey has its own apeal too. (Sigh...)

Either way it is a very cool calendar in excellent shape. And it has helpfull advice for the farmer.

Now I know a laying hen needs a wide moist vent...

I was cleaning out an old briefcase tonight and came across this photo that 9N'er sent me in Jan '01. "The Whimpster". Sweet!

To me, FWIW, that's about as good as it gets. The color seems really right. I wonder why I haven't seen this picture before? Have you been hoarding it?

Well, that is why I kinda posted the picture - It seems to be an excellent representation of what the grey color looked like - kinda blue grey.

Yeah, I guess I have. 9N'er sent it to me a long time ago with a thank you note for my help (I wasn't much help, but what the hey). Last night I was cleaning out an old briefcase that I haven't used in months and found the photo in there. So I scanned it last night.

...that you'd figure it out, eventually. Did you see the 9N(2N) for sale, restored to "original colors?"

What kind of crop would he have been plowing for at that time of year?? Any ideas?? The trees are beautiful, but it seems like the seed should be in already. It IS a nice picture!

PS I like my gray 'N', red just wouldn't be right!
