Took the Case skidsteer up to the farm today... it's way too wet... 3" of rain reported earlier this week and some more last night. Kettle river is up some. Got that Case stuck twice in the clay and sod cleaning up dead trees and old brush piles... chained up the 2N and what was stuck, ain't no more!!! Parked the Case up on the trailer where it can't sink in!! and cleared some trails with the Bush Hog. Even the grass is thick, green and tough.... bet it will be growing up through the first 4" of snow!!!

Is the calendar wrong? Is it really mid- October???

My 2n rescued my Allis WD today up in Bemidji. The Transmission went out last weekend and I dragged her home today with one wheel turninig backwards for about a 1/4 mile. Then I pushed her up on the trailer with the loader on the 9n. In the morning I will put the backbade on clean up the ruts I left behind. This winter I think I'll working on the orange.

I recall my Dad enjoying the times he would get called to help get the neighbors green and yellow unstuck.... the N's weren't always regarded as "much of a tractor"... And there were a few times when we'd see 2 or more tractors (of all colors) working to get somebody out.

We don't always like our neighbor's tractors but we liked the neighbors enough to help when they needed it.

Sure is and it is going to get down to 18 degs tonight acording to the weather man. Got my pipes drained now along with the hoses to the presure washer! Going to put a crimp in the parts cleaning! Might have to do it the hard way for a while! Like for the next 5 months!!Mark H.

Got to do something! Got used to the presure washer doing some of the hard part. I only have about 30 days max working out side now then it is all inside the shop! Got to clean it out this week been spending to much time in the great outdoors working! With our 1.98 inches of rain so far this year it has been easy to do! Mark H.
