Ok,

As you may recall, I had prepared by 9N to pull @ the fair. Well, last night in NH was very very WET!! 3rd in line, 9N running strong, DIES.. just stops, no noises, no unusal behavior, just stops. We could crank it over, but it felt like it had no gas. Checked gas, lines, filters, they were fine. Plenty of juice to crank, but not that spark to life. So, pulled to trailer, pushed on, home we came.

The plugs are not getting sparks. The distributor and coils appear to be pretty rusty. My first initial guess is too much rain, water got in, no more life to tractor. At this point, what is the next best step? I am thinking of replacing wires/distributor. Thoughts??

By the way, a 8N weighing 2850 won the 0-3000 class last night in the rain!! :)

Try drying out your cap, wires etc w/a blow dryer and see if you get even a weak spark.
There are a lot of similar postings in the archives here listing the steps to check out where the problem lies.
