Don't forget this is the weekend (September 12-15) for the national Ford/Fordson collectors meet and show. It's part of the Ozark Steam and gas show in Republic, Missouri, 8 miles south of Springfield. Take exit 70 from I-44. There will be lots of Fords and Ford tractor people there. I've spent all day today loading junk, er, I mean highly desirable used parts into the truck and trailer to sell at the swap meet. If you only go to one tractor show a year, this should be the one. Come on down!

Yep, Goldee (my 53 Golden Jubilee) is on the trailer and ready to roll toward Republic tomorrow or Thursday. Will be looking for some great sheet metal for my 841 while there. Mike-Iowa

John,

Too bad I'm not a little closer. Would love to come. I've got a few shows to attend starting in 2 weekends and continuing until mid October. Looking forward to it.

Any shows in or near florida any time soon?

I work 6 days a week, so anything I can't get to and back in about 30 hours is tough on me.

thanks

Tyman - Would your schedule happen to include the Steam, Grease and Rust Assn show Oct 18 - 20 in McConnellsburg, PA??

No doubt you've been down to WV already to get that beautiful 9N spit shined for the show circuit! LOL - Mark

Bingo, hold your cards!!! :-)

The schedule also includes the;

1) Two-Top Ruritan Club Show in Mercersburg, PA (Sept 20-22)

2) Smithsburg Steam and Craft Show, Smithsburg MD (Sept 28-29)

And a couple more in between these and that coolest of all...McConnellsburg show!!

Head'in to the farm this weekend to pull the 9N out of storage. Will hook up trailer and load tractor for the haul to my home in Middletown. Got some cleaning to do on it. Darned old dust accumulates on it somethin fierce. ;-)

I will definitely see Mark in McConnellsburg and hope to see some others at the shows.

Tyman:

Use extreme caution when trying to drive your tractor! Remember you are out of practice what with only a couple of shows and parades a year. I know usually you rely on driving a "real working" tractor at the Grant's Mountain Steak Fry, but this year you neglected your refresher course. Please use care.
