I just purchased a 1949 Ford 8N and the wiring is all torn out. Can anyone help on how it's supposed to be wired with out buying a whole new wiring harness?

Billy Bob..... ....I am a certified Aircraft Electrician and I can't build a tractor harness as cheap ($12-15) as I can buy it. And I know how to do it right. Besides a new harness will have color coded wires of the correct gauge, terminal sizes, and length. It took me 1 hr of quality daddy time instructing my then 12 yo son on how to do it right. 1st step, remove the hood, 6 bolts and a helper to walk it forward..... ...Dell

Take your pic. Here's Tyler Neff's diagram or you could look at the diagrams on Nseries.com.

A Harness is 15.00-20.00 and the parts to make one are about the same? I would put a harness in and save yourself the hassel. Mark H.
