im still having a problem with my 3 point working intermitent.i pulled the cover off with the arms up with a lot of weight and didnt see much leakage at all. the one thing i did notice is if i disconect the three point and allow the arms to go all the way to the bottom it works again. it seems like the have to go all the the way to the bottom. has anybody had this same problem and is there a cure. even if i disconnect the top pin and allow the arms to bottom out it works again .

Take a good look at the 2 arms that are connected to the control valve. Sometimes these either come off one side of the "T" on the control valve, or the rivits holding the sections become loose and allow alot of slop in the control arms. Either one of those things would give you an intermittent operation. My $.02

If you didn't see any leakage up high when you operated the lift with a load, then it could be the relief valve, which is behind the pump near the bottom. It is shaped like a spark plug. New replacements are about $25. It takes a stubby wrench to remove it, 11/16 I think. That info is based on Fergie, but I think probably the same.
