My 12v 48N has a bad starter switch. I'm trying to get it started to see if the rear part of the tractor is working correctly. Single wire alt.
A--1 solenoid wire goes to the terminal thru ammeter and where does the other wire go? B--Does the other solenoid wire go to the push button switch and where does it go from there? C--+ wire from bat to big terminal on solenoid--correct? I've looked at several diagrams in the archives and haven't seen my setup yet. None show 3 wires coming from the solenoid. Hope this isn't confusing. I know I am.
TIA

One wire (on the large solenoid post with the battery cable) comes back to a common post that feeds the switch and also goes to your alternator. The other wire on the small terminal of the solenoid goes to the starter button. This small post is shorted to ground to make the solenoid energize. Hope this helps
