I know this ain't about Ns, but folks on this board know alot about all sorts of stuff. So here it is, Sunday afternoon, I acquired a log splitter. No name, no instructions on the care and feeding of it. It has a 5HP Briggs and Stratton motor. That part I can handle. Now, the hydraulics. Are hydraulic oils different? I mean can I use the 134d that I use in the NAA or should I look for something else? It is low on oil, so I need to top it up some before I try to run it. Believe it or not, I got it at the Goodwill store for 65 bucks. And it does look in good shape. Thanks

Yes any good hydraulic oil is fine, Those things aren't to picky. 56 or 68 or equivilent from Texaco works good if it is real cold.
