Was out mowing today and as soon as i tried to mow the ditch out next to the road it puttered and died. Yes i did check the gas and it was 3/4 of a tank.It only does it when sloped to the left. I turned around and went the opposite direction and it ran fine.Could this be a sediment bowl or maybe a float problem? Any other suggestions is welcome. Thanks,Terry

I had the same thing, also would not use all the gas in the tank. I found the holes were pluged at the bottom of the feeder tube in the gas tank. These holes feed gas when the gas valve is completly open. If the holes are pluged you can run out of gas with 2-3 gallons in the tank when on a slope.

Danny my Jubilee will do the same thing. The fuel feed from the tank is on the right side of my tank. I simply run out of gas if tilted to far to the left.

My guess is that it is a float problem.

Danny
