Okay Mr. Gooding, (or anyone else), what year make and model is this loader? There's no identification "anywhere" on it. The hydraulic fluid is stored in the frame and is filled by taking-out a threaded plug. I want to restore it and put it in mint condition as it goes on my (in progress) restored 52 8N. Also, can I get a larger bucket for it, and where can I get parts? Sorry for all the questions but I'm just learning and you guys are a wealth of information. Thanks!

Yes Ed, that's the one I have. What I need to know is how to go about rebuilding the hydraulic cylinders. They're leaking real bad and I don't want to put the loader back on my shiney new/old tractor. Thanks for your help.

Greg, The loader you showed in the picture is a dearborn model 19-22 or 19-21. Yes you can put a wider bucket on it. The old snow buckets for pauson and horn fit it. They also made a combo bucket where that manure bucket went inside of it and they bolted together. There is no seals in the cylinders, If you can get the ends screwed off you can put new packing in themif the rams aren't all pitted. If you don't have the mounts for this loader you can contact me I have a set and I'd be happy to mail you some pictures. John

Mike,

I looked at your other loader pictures. I have the same loader and need to take the pump coupler off. Do you know how the coupler that connects to the crank attaches to the shaft? Is it a set screw on a splined shaft?

Thanks,
Danny

Look in the phone book for a hydraulic shop in your area. Cylinders were probably purchased from a vendor and they can probably supply you with parts or fix them for you.

Nope, close but no cigar. Neither one is the one I have. What I'm looking for is the hydraulic cylinder kits, but I think I need to identify what loader I have first don't I? Thanks for your help.
