Or is that grey and red?

Or is that two shades of grey, a red engine seat and hubs?

Oh, and while you're at it, reverse one tire tread. [*]

Grey and Red?

Red and Grey?

(* some legit reason for doing this??)

It looks like my Fergie TO30 except this one has an engine in it... Mine has an engine in the barn. MARK!! I STILL NEED A BLOCK!!
Actually, I'm not picky; a Z120 will even do the job. Turns out my head is from a TO20 anyway. A lot of interchangability (sp?) on these old girls.
My paint job is also kind of a reverse redbelly.. Red tin and grey chassis. If I ever get it running again it's going to get stars and stripes. Obviously, I'm not a purist.

You question the reason one tire is backwards. Some believe if you do this you have the same pull going forward and reverse instead of just having all your pulling power going forward by having both tires facing forward. I've not tried it, just heard this explanation before.

seems to me you would have the same pulling power forward and backward, but it would be half in both directions.

I bet it has a radiator cap, you just can't see it 'cause it's under the flip-up hood!
;^)

I'll bet the main job for the Ferguson is to push a scraper blade for pusn' snow.

It's a Fergie. At least the gray looks like the right color.
