LONG TIME OFF IS DRAWN TO A CLOSE!!! BACK TO WORK TOMORROW

Well guys you won't be hearin so much from me during the day anymore. Tomorrow April 1st I start my new job, I gave up the glamorous life of a construction electrician (layoffs and when there is work you're goin 7 days 12-16 hrs a day plus drivin all over creation), to take a job as head of the electrical maitenance dept at a local manufacturing facility here in Pa. Only 7 miles from home and no layoffs every year. It's for a little less money but hey this last time off was from Dec. 17 2001 til present and less money is better than tellin the wife no money. Plus its a great shift 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Still lots of time to play w/ the 50 8n. The wife is exstatic for me. I'm happy too, but only because I can buy more tractor stuff now . (I won't tell her that though) I'll be in touch when the next problem arises on the 50.

Congradulations! I am glad you like those hours! I would be jumping off the bridge if I had to be at work at 05:30 !! Oh my god, do people work at that time of day??? 80)

I was in plant maintenance from 1978 thru 1982, and I jumped to Field Service with 3M. There is NO assurance with jobs anymore, but it sure sounds like you got a deal to your liking. With all that time and $$'s comming in steady you may need another tractor. 80)
