Hey 9n`er,are there any other historic sites in your area other than the Whimpster? I figure the only way to see your tractor is to pack up everybody and everything and make a family vacation of it. So if it looks like Chevy Chase is coming for a visit you better look again because it just might be me!

Do you remember the final scene in "The Field Of Dreams." As the camera pulls away, you see this enormous line of headlights heading for the baseball field.
Wouldn't it be awesome to see all of the N Board readers heading down 9N'er's road to see the Whimpster after he posts the pictures?

Hey Ellwood...I'm smiling so much that I can barely type. If you plan a family vacation here to New England and the White Mountains, I'll put a sign out on Route 2 with an arrow: "1940 9N...Home of 9N'er -->" Just keep heading east on route 2 til you see the sign...turn left, we're about .7 miles past the dam and down the hill. I'll put the tractor lights on for you!

And everyone will need to get 3 point att. for a fuel tank trailer. Don't know how big it needs to be. I'm still doing the math. Perhaps it would be best not to drive the N's all the way to NH.

hey N'er how much land do you own? Maybe we could have an N-stock; you know kinda like woodstock but without the hippies.
So glad to hear the good news, I knew the Whimpster would be up and running. Keep me in mind. Mine is in about a million parts all over the barn; sometimes when I lose sight and look at the whole project it seems overwhelming ; how am I gonna get this back together. If I view it one step at a time I take pride in even the smallest task.

Stay the course and keep the faith

tom; you're right...one small victory at a time. How much land? I think NH should be a national N-Meetin place sometime in the future...actually have thought about garnering as many n's in the area for th Gorham, 4th of July parade. What a sight that would be. How can that happen?

I'll keep the tractor warm and the lights on for you Salmoneye! p.s. don't forget, it's a left at the sign on route 2. if you fgo right, you may end up on the summit of mount washington. I still want to drive my tractor up the auto road...what a publicity stunt. it could be a white knuckle monster ride down though...brakes on the 9n's are not the greatest.
