I've been a regular visitor here for several years and if I've noticed anything, it's that the folks who participate here are a lot like the folks I like to associate with in person. There are all sorts of personalities and varying levels of communication skills from scholarly to, let's say, grammatically challenged. I like it all...well almost all. I don't like it when we go off on a major bender bickering with one another over who is the most offended and who is the worst offender. Let's stick to our tractors, our farms, our other hobbies and interests and quit being so over-sensitized to minor social misteps. I tend to be a little sarcastic myself and have been known to ask someone if they've gotten into the "stupid pills" again when they ask or say something dumb (or that I think is dumb). I don't do it to put them down or raise myself up. It's just my way of injecting a little levity into life. Let's all ease up a little and be more tolerant of each other. This board is too much fun and the knowledge transfer too important to let it be spoiled.
One other thing for those I haven't annoyed already. Let's be a little more careful with our language? While my own conversation can range to moderately blue when it's an appropriate audience, I try to keep it clean when I'm not sure who's listening or reading. Some of our kids share our interest in old tractors and participate here. Please be considerate.

I agree!! Dell, you stop being rude to people and lets stick to just answering questions about tractors. That ought to take care of it. Case closed!!!
