Jubilee Hydraulics Problem

I've got a problem with the hydraulics on my Jubilee. The lift was hiccupping so I removed the entire assembly beneath the seat.

When I was taking if off, I loosened the big acorn nut at the back pressure valve. When I removed the nut the entire hollow stud beneath the nut came out as well. I don't know if I did any damage to these parts.

I had the local Holland dealer rebuilt the unit with all new seals.

I put it back on and now the lift works but it does not have any power. It will raise the arms as long as there is no attachment on the tractor.

Any one know what I did wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Gene

I am assuming that you put the back pressure valve back together. If the lift is trying to lift the back pressure valve is doing it's job anyway since it is what makes the unloading valve work and the lift won't move at all if the unloading valve was not working.

I would pull the inspection plate off and try to see where the oil is coming out. It could be that there is a blown gasket or O ring or that the safety pressure relief valve is leaking or bypassing oil. I have seen foriegn matter get in the safety valve after maintenance on the lift has been done and this will have the symptoms you are having.

Did you bleed the air out after you got it back together?
