Thanks for the prayer on my behalf. I could really use it most days. Now as to this site: I started haunting this board about a year ago knowing NOTHING about tractors. I mean, I was so dumb that I bought a Farmall Cub with the intention of cutting and baling hay (stop laughing now). I came out whole on that mistake....sold it for $300 more than I paid. Wish I could have kept it just to tinker on, but finances got in the way. So I turned my attention to Ford. Why? No other reason than my Grandfather used to have 3 Ns on his farm in southern Idaho. Found this site, and Dan's Vintage Ford Tractor Resource site. Thank heavens. Now I read this (and the Ford board) daily just to learn. And I find that now I know enough to actually answer others questions from time to time. I, too, am grateful to all you experienced experts who freely give of your expertise without letting on how hard you're laughing at me. Let's make sure we keep this informative and friendly, it's a priceless resource as it is.

That was the one with only 3 wheels, one drive and two steering. Didn't need a pivoting front axel so saved money. D.O.N.

OH, I"ve heard of these...I also heard that Ford was trying to save money in dem dere days that they omitted the "o" on the script. Saved paint...only had to paint three letters. Besides, you can still read it..."Frd."

You are right. Some people are afraid to ask a "stupid" question. There is no such thing. I think I am very knowledgeable on some subjects yet completely ignorant on others. That is how we learn. Asking simple questions and starting from the bottom. It is nice when someone with experience on a subject can help you without looking down on you. Shows they have class. Learning is what makes a hobby fun.
