I have a 1968 Ford Diesel 4000. It does not have a self priming fuel pump(injector). I need help bleeding the air out of the pump to prime it. If you can help me get the air out of the pump and bleed the injectors, please reply to this message or e-mail me. I will give you a call if you leave me a number. Thanks a lot.

Kevin, I'm not familiar with your particular tractor, but I just wanted to see if you filled the fuel filters. A diesel will usually pick it up and run after the filters are filled. Some fuel pumps have a lever to manually prime the pump. A lot of times air pressure is used to push the fuel along. BUT! Without knowing your tractor I'm afraid to advise this. Maybe some body here has one of these tractors and can advise.
