I'm glad I traded my 8n after seeing the first few responses to your honest important question. Thanks to those who gave a real answer; not trying to build themselves up and hurt someone else.

Fred,

I don't think you to find a better group of people in any forum on the internet. There may be a few wiseguys here now and again but for the most part you could not find a better place to get answers to questions.

Happy Holidays

Bill

Oh man, thats a big job. You have to remove the hood and tank and pull the head. Then, carefully squirt oil into a balloon. Put the balloon on top of the valves and reassemble. Then, when you start the tractor, the balloon will burst, sending oil into the engine. But be sure to suck all the old oil out through cylinder 1 with a garden hose first, or else you'll have BIG trouble.

You need some better material there Chris Rock. I doubt if you're the brightest light on the Christmas tree yourself.

Let me guess; the helpful reply you gave was written by approximately someone who is about 17 years old, and at this point thinks he knows everything there is to know about anything and everything. The guy was asking a legitimate question which should have required some respect. I doubt you can spell the word, much less know what it means. Now, does this make you feel any better. If not, go cry to momma, we don't want to hear your silly insults.

....turkey baster work inplace of a garden hose?
All my hoses are frozen to the outside spigots.

2 - Can I use a rubber glove instead of the balloon?

The only silly questions are the ones you should have asked and didn't. For example--is that ice thick enough to walk on?

Check figure F0 2 in the I T manual

Oil goes down the tube under the crank case breather cap

Your mileage may vary

Engine oil - left front of engine, there is a tube with a breather filter on it.. Pull up the breather and add oil to engine... Hydraulic fluid is added by removing the cap that is next to the transmission shifter...
Happy Motoring
