Below is the link to my Dearborn 19-71 loader album on Photopoint.

The last pict is an image from a parts book showing two different mounting brackets, part 36 or part 36A. The 19-71 uses part 36 which I think you can see how it works from the photos.

If you can tell us which style of front mounting bracket you have, it would narrow down the choices of models. I'll try to remember to look and see if there are any other distingushing features between the models in the literature I have.

thanks for your post Larry. Great pics! I believe i've determined mine to be a 19-23 prior model with manual trip bucket, based on pics Ed has posted. sure I'll need more input from you guys as I move along in project. Randy in N.B.

Hi CCNA. Here's pics of several fairly common Dearborn loaders found on N's. If you can identify yours from one of them, then I may have the info you seek, or the N-Newsletter archives most likely will.

Here's a Model 19-7:

Here's a 19-8:

Here's a 19-8A:

Here's a Model 19-21 Standard:

Here's a 19-22 Heavy Duty loader:

Here's a 19-23 (Prior Model):

This is by no means all of the Dearborn models, and then there are other manufacturers like Wagner, Sherman and others. Hopefully, you'll see yours pictured above. If not, your best approach would be to take a picture of yours. If you don't have a means of posting it, you are welcome to mail it to me and I'll scan it and post it to see if it can be identified for you.

Thanks for the nice sentiments in your post above. We do appreciate the support of our neighbors and friends around the world.

Happy Holidays..... ..... ..... .Ed

that's perfect,Ed. Just the options Iwas lookin for...from your pics it seems as though I have a 19-23(prior model),onliest difference I'm noticing offhand is that I have a manual trip to dump bucket as shown on the 19-21 standard model. Am I right to assume that the hydraulic dump as shown was an option available on same loader as mine? thanks a bunch for your time and effort!!! Much appreciated!!! By the way, what's prior model mean?

The manual trip was standard on the 21, 22 and 23 Prior. They all used the same lift frame. However, Dearborn sold an upgrade kit, called the "Standard to Heavy Duty Conversion Kit", that offered hydraulic dump, a heavy bumper and the fittings and other parts.

>> By the way, what's prior model mean? <<

I don't know, but Dearborn used that identifier on several models. For example, though there is a 23 (Prior), thee is no 23 (After?) or even a model 24 listed in the Master Parts Book. The "(Prior)" designation was used on models 7, 8, 8A, 23, 42 and 61.

Hope this helps..... ..... Ed

Dear CNNA
The best way to figure that out is to post a picture of your loader, someone will recognize it.
Alternatively you could look through the Tractor Photo Gallery on the sidebar of this site.
Many loaders to compare to your own some with enough descriptions to help you out.
Once you figure out the brand name, go to N-Newsletter at www.n-news.com and you'll likely find manuals and information on your brand.

Sorry no one answered you yet but you'll have to get some more information for us to help you out.
Fluid capacities are extremely variable. Just buy a few gallons, it doesn't go bad.

N'joy
John

thanks,John...unfortunately Idon't think I have the tools or knohow to post pic. I once saw pic in gallery similar to mine but can't find it now. Almost certain it is a dearborn of some kind...pretty heavy duty with a lot of pipes/tubing. already bought the gallons of fluid and made the change, but i was a little concerned about how much to put in. went with about 11 litres or 3 us gallons. could you do any harm by overfilling?
