Done a compression test on my Jubilee yesterday. 3 cylinders were 115 and one was 110 is that near normal or what it should be?

Thanks, Terry

Terry..... ...Ford specs for the 6.5:1 flathead 90 psi min. Don't know what it is for the higher compression OHV Jubbie, probably 100 psi min. Doesn't really matter too much as long as they're relative all equal. Ford quotes 10% variance. This means for your 110 psi you could be 11 psi from any others. You'll note, if you substract 110 from 115, that is only 5 psi. Well within the 11 psi tolarance limit. Bottom line, its nice to keep a check on your compression, but IMHO you don't have anything to worry about.

FYI, my non-stock 165hp 1969 BMW 2002 w/385K mi checks out at 165 psi. My Dodge Cummins Diesel checks out at 220 psi. Oh yeah, my 1952 8N checks out at 110 psi..... ....Dell

Hi Terry,
Check the archives, all the numbers are there with the instructions on how to do the test. Sorry I don't have the exact post to direct you to, but look a little and you will find it. Dell or Clause or someone with exact info will probably reply and give you specifics. Good luck.
