My PTO shaft must be really worn. New ORC (from New Holland Dealer) is a real sloppy fit (3/16" wobble at end of shaft.) What if I were to shim or jig it up centered to hold it and glue it on (and use the roll pin too)? Don't have any 1-1/8" implements. I assume some heat and a puller would get it off if I ever needed to.

Maybe get one of those nice Ford logo seat covers with the hundred $ I save.

Why doncha go ahead and get a new 1-3/8" shaft? That will take care of the worn shaft problem. Then you get a standard 1-3/8 x 1-3/8 ORC.

Why? How about:

Shaft $100.00 1-3/8 X 1-3/8 ORC $60.00
Throw away 1-1/8 X 1-3/8 ORC $60.00

JB Weld $5.00

Are you sure it's sloppy on the INSIDE fit to the PTO shaft? The ORC will appear sloppier than a straight extension or 1-1/8 to 1-3/8 adapter, simply by design. The internal slip mechanism of the ORC causes this.

What you might have done was get a 1-3/8" to 1-3/8" ORC. Since the PTO shaft is 1-1/8", you need an adapter.

There are ORC Adapters which have a 1-1/8" female end and 1-3/8" male end. I got mine at Farm and Fleet. TSC has them as well.
