I have several 8n carbs the the needle and seat are worn so they leak gas. I would like to purchase just the needle and seat for the carb, not a complete kit.

Greg..... ...In my experience, a carb needle that appears to be worn that it won't shut off the gas flow usually has a float that doesn't float and gaskets that leak too. I think you are being cheep and asking for trouble thinking that all you have to do is replace the needle and seat..... ...Dell

I have repaired-rebuilt over 100 carbs most of which did not need it. Inexperienced tinkerers have torn themdown and needed help to rebuild. I have found only TWO floats that were needing replaced. Spend other people's money more wisely! By the way, these included Holley 4 barrels, carter carbs as well as many tractor carbs.

Absolutely agree, spend other peoples money wizely! The cost of small parts like gaskets are cheep compaired to the carburator rebuilders do-it-again time because it wasn't done right the first time. That is why there are "kits" that have all the necessay parts to do the job right the first time..... ...respectfully, Dell
