Jubilee-going back to positive ground

Noticed my newly acquired Jub was wired negative ground. Voltage regulator went bad. I want to go back to original positive ground so will replace with the standard 6v P-ground regulator. I have read the archives and learned that the starter doesn't care about polarity and will still work fine. I should be able to polarize the gen by going from bat to arm momentarily with power off, all wires hooked up. The question is will the wires need to be reversed on the ignition coil???? I didn't find this addressed anywhere in the archives. Any help will be appreciated.

I also have a Jubilee that needs to be polarized, however my generator has no markings on the terminals. Can someone tell me what each of the three terminals on the generator are? It would also help to know what the terminals are on the voltage regulator, from top to bottom.

The three terminals are as follows: The one on the end plate is the generator output. (Arm or Gen) the one on top of the generator that is not insulated is the generator ground. The other one has a plastic insulator and is the field connection. On the voltage regulator, the terminals are usually marked. You may have to remove the little covers that are on the terminals. As far as the coil is concerned on positive ground, the + side of the coil should go to the distributor.

I think he might have to change the wires from oneside to the other on the ammeter, or the postive charge will read negative. My $.02.
