let me post this again. This weekend I went through the hydraulic pump, cleaned it,looks GOOD.Put in new oil gaskets, new cylinder and NAA piston. The lift comes up kinda slow but then jams at the top.Lots of pressure on the arms and I can't move them back down.If I move the touch control lever I can see a slight up/down movement, even with the engine off.Noleaks that I can see,and the relief/safety valve isn't stirring up the hyd.oil.So,what am I missing??Is it something simple???She lifts up fine, but won't come loose to drop the lift arms.I did not change the relief valve yet.Should I???Thanx guys, for hearing me out!

js8n,

Did you do the quadrant adjustment?
I think it is more responsive now and you need to do the qudrant adjustment. My FO4 is at the barn so I forget what they call it. If you have the video, Guy shows you to put it in Draft, raise the arms and loosen the 4 bolts on the qudarant and adjust till the arms just start to come up w/o hesitation.

maybe this will help?

I read about the quadrent adjustment in my FO4 and it says to loosen the 4 bolts and adjust the quadrent. I loosened the 4 bolts holding the quadrent to the lift housing but my quadrent on my 2N won't budge an inch. is it just seized up? or am I loosening the wrong bolts?
