Is there a easy way to get these off? They look like they are pressed on and I can't get a puller around them. SN 437338.

Hi Chuck, This is a tough subject.Meaning it could turn out to be a bear of a job!The archive's will help you some.FORD FO4 shop manual as Dell would say"cheap getcha one".How I did it and I don't recommend it,hinde site is 20/20.I tapped the inside arm on the flat oval area with a claw hammer"I recommend using a peice of hardwood placed against the arm" gently tap either side to see if one start's to move, which ever side start's to move keep tapping it until it come's off.Do not start framming on them with a sledge hammer, remember this stuff is cast, don't ask trust me!The archive's will help you see what you might run into.Oh and don't beat on the splined shaft, again don't ask trust me!Hope this help's some, your friend,Jay

They are on a splined shaft. They supposedly slide on and off, but mostly they are rusted tight. Penetrating oil, heat, a hydraulic press are often used to remove these. The lift arm ram is also attached to the same splined shaft on the inside, but it's a different size from the lift arms.
