I read the message that was posted a few days ago about the proper seat for the 9n or 2n I can't remember. I was curious though. My dad has a '46 2N and the seat on it has a spring and shock mounted on the back of it and it is adjustable for different resistance. Where did this seat come from??? Your comments are appreciated.

Here is a link to a post by Larry. Does the seat look like any of these?

No it doesn't look like any of those. All support comes from the rear of the seat and the spring and shock come up from the bottom at about a 75 degrees. and the bracket holding it is like a three piece hinge coming from the top of the tranny then vertical and then connecting to the top of the spring at the same angle as the first bracket. That is the best I can describe it.
