I HAVE A LATE 9N AND A HEADSTUD HAS STARTED LEAKING IS IT POSSIABLE TO REPLACE THIS ONE STUD OR IS MORE INVOLVED. SHE RUNS FINE WITH A LITTLE BLOW-BY FROM THE FILL TUBE I FIGURE SHE WILL NEED RINGS AT THE LEAST IN THE NEAR FUTURE $$$$ PERMITING THANKS IN ADVANCE P.S. NO OIL IN RAD NO WATER IN CRANK

Take the nut off without pulling out the stud, and put a flat washer with a liberal amount of permatex under it and then the nut on top of that. If the stud unscrews, clean it on a wire wheel, put some permatex on the threads, screw it back in, and then do the flat washer procedure. Suggest not to try to pull the stud out if it doesn't unscrew easily, since if you break it off, you'll be forced to pull the head. My $.02

Try to tighten that bolt, it may be loose - carefull - not to break it. If its not loose, replace it. Good Luck ///CRS///
