Have an R, two actually that have bad nose sheet-metal at there bases. It's all rusted out and "gone" where it bolts down. Is this common? Am I going to be unable to find a good part? The 5/16" plate over steer gear where it bolts down to is badly rusted and pitted from same rust. I can clean it up some, live with pitting I guess. I also need the grill mesh for same tractor. Anyone have extras? Price? I'm in Indiana. Also looking for 36" wheels and/or tires. Maybe one front wheel, 16".

If you can get the cover plate to seal the steering gear housing it'll be O.K. I put one back on a Z with a thick bead of RTV silicone.
The bottom of your radiator shroud can either be fixed, or you can check with some of the parts suppliers at jetstar.minneapolis-moline.com for a better one.

That is sometimes the nature of the beast they collect dust and dirt with noplace to go. It just sets there and draws moisture and then rusts out.
