While attempting to replace the front wheel seal on my 47' UTS, the inside bearing and seal did not come off when I pulled the wheel. The bearing seems as if it is pressed on. I don't want to cut it off as it seems to be in good shape. Any ideas on how to get it off?

I think they are pressed on, or they stick. If you have access to a split bearing puller, that would be the way to go. If not, you'll just have to put a puller on the outer race and hope for the best.(wear glasses-they can shatter). If you have to replace it, that bearing should be a standard part, but you'll probably have to mike the o.d. of the spindle and the I.d. of the hub and check with a bearing supplier to come up with a cup and cone set. It was probably either a Bower or Timken part, originally, except with MM part no. on it.

Thanks Kelvin, I had to make a puller as I could not find one in town. It worked good. Someone had pinged the spindle to make the bearing fit tighter, and it worked! Now if I can only find a seal.

Bob if you do have to cut it the bearing number is mt7003 cone and cup mt7002. Outside of using a bearing puller I don't know sorry!
