A couple in my pulling club have an R with a 206 + in it. He said it put out 70 hp on the dyno. I didn't get a chance to ask him what they did. I know it runs probably 300-400 rpm faster than stock. They do very well in the 4000. I could probably get his email address.

I think a later OHV 206 445, 4-star, jetstar will bolt up to the rear end but I don't see any big gains in horsepower.

the zb block will not take ub jugs, ub different block all together. That head-cylinder combo is the biggest on that engine meaning if bored .060 over. i'm not sure if you could use 220 blocks and heads. and I 've not tried to use 236 blocks with 220 heads. i'm sure there are head bolt issues. the trouble is that you would know its not a zb 206 just by the looks. .the best you could do for a zb is get a high altitude or propane head, have a crank ground offset maybe a 1/4 in. to stroke it. Turn up the rpm a little. a good machine shop could mess with the cam grind. all that for a marginal increase, but if that makes you happy - go for it.
