Twin Cities 17-28

I helped a friend of mine this past weekend with his twin cities 17-28. This tractor has been in his family for 60 years or so. We aren't sure if it is a 1920 or 1919. is there a way to find out from id numbers somewhere on the tractor? This tractor has sat for about 12 years but when we hooked up to a belt it fired right off. We used it to shred corn and drove it through the parade in jordan MN.

17-28's were made from 1926 to 1935. They were preceeded by 12-20's from 1919 to 1926. There are no listings of serial numbers by year until 1930 to 1935 for these tractors. Serial numbers prior to 1930 are:
12-20: 10201 to 19220
17-28: 19220 to 30104
The serial number should be on the tag on the side of the transmission below the gas tank. There is a chart for 17-28's 1930 and later but I don't have it in front of me.
