Got a chance to get one tomorrow for 750.00 and it is complete. The guy that owned it is 82 years old and owned it since new. It ran the last time it was parked he said. He told me he is to old to use it any more. Is this a good deal and a collectable tractor? The year is unknown mid 40s he can't remember so I will need to look at serial numbers to find out that. There is a letter after the Z that tells alot but he only remembers the Z where do I look for another letter to date it? Thanks, Mark H.

Well, first thing that you need to do is locate the serial number identification plate. It is on the left side of the tractor, if looking at it from the front, and by the transmission. Then there should be two or three letters saying the model, then there should be a 6 digit serial number. My guess is that it is a ZTU. What condition is it in?
