Can anyone tell me what the proper.original color combination is for a 1967 MM Jetstar 3 Super? The one I got has been repainted (I think) and has yellow/orange wheel hubs and yellow engine parts (mostly), but has a reddish-brown dash. What should it look like?

My 69 Jet Star 3 Super had the brown belly when I bought it.I went back with all yellow.

On our website at work we have a photo of the late 1965-67 Jet Star 3 Super. This photo was taken by M-M and was on one of our booklets from when we sold them new. I am not sure if it was in late 67 or early 68 when the color changed to all yellow. If it is a late 67 it could be eather way. If it was not sand blasted you might find some of the origional paint under the dash area or by the hyd system under the shields. Any place where it is hard to repaint might help to tell the correct color. You can still get the M-M yellow in quarts and spray cans from Agco. The dash by the gauges is black and the same for the panel by the key switch. I have one myself and the are a great little tractor. Our site with the photo is Link

This is sticky: I think they changed the color combination in '67 or '68.
My '67 has a 'brown belly' I.E: brown trasmission, axles hubs, engine,seat, steering column, front axle front hubs.
The fenders hood and side panels are yellow. I think the channel iron frame that fastens the steering gear to the engine was originally yellow, too.
Mine also has a black sheet metal channel that runs along both side of the hood and another channel that goes around the casting above the grille.
I don't know what color the panels around the lights should be. I presume they would be black if they were on the tractor.
Like I said, there was a change sometime along there and later Jet3supers had no brown paint.

On the 670 super I.m pretty sure 68 was the year they went all yellow. More than likely the same on the JS 3 Super. I think either one would be OK. Personally I kinda like the brown bellies with yellow hoods. I jave a Jet Star diesel that was all brown and I plan to go two tone on it.

I have a '67 jetstar 3 super and it's all yellow. some of the normal jetstar 3's may have been two-toned. If you look on this website you might be able to find a picture of one. I don't know, just an idea.
