Which front end is original on a U wide front?
One has a pipe that is adjustable or the one that has flat iron on it? My U has the same front as my RTE,but have seen U with one like on my five star.

The U uses the same wide front as the R, constructed of an I beam and reinforced unless on a very early one.

The square axle will be original on UTE I think. I'm sure it was on UBE. I think the round wide fronts on U's are after market version's. If your peedestal sticks down and you steer from below it it is after market.
