Pistons out of a 585 will not work in a 504 because a 585 uses a dished piston and the 504 uses a flat top it has to do with the different injection sys

Thanks for the info. I have a 1355 I'm thinking of parting out, and was curious if they were interchangeable. Thanks again.

MM pistons only come in .020, .040, and .060. What size bore is std. I have only worked with the 585 with the 4.75 bore and 5.5 stroke which is about the same thing as a G-1000. We have .060 in our pulling tractor that keeps cracking our one block that is not original. I just took a set of .020 out of our White 2-150 with the 585 MM in it. I have some numbers for you to call. Both of the places are in Ohio. They are Maibach tractor at (330) 939- 4192. They are a Oliver/White/Agco dealer. THey might be able to help you and they have great service. If not, they will give you this phone #(740) 922-3335. This is where we got our parts from. The guy's name is Wendell Everett. He is extremely slow. We've been waiting the last month and a half for the rest of our parts. Don't get me wrong, he know his sh*t, but won't call you back if he has a problem, needs a part #, or let you know what the h*ll is going on. He deals only with MM parts and service. If I had a choice I get the parts from Maibach's. They might be a few dollars more, but they will get you your parts within a week normally. Don't let the prices blow you away! Pistons for the 585 were $200 a piece and rings were $60 a set. Email or post agin if you have any questions.

Try Foland Farm in Sidney NE (308) 254 3011 or e-mail Ken at

I talked to them yesterday I'm sure they could get 0.060 but not the 0.030 I need or Welters may have some.

What size are your old pistions and how good are they. If they are good and 0.030 or 0.040 I'd be interested in them. I only need one .030 over. but if I can't find a 0.030 over I'd be interested in six .040's.
