Hello,
Has anyone opened up a Webster pump #3YDS9-1R C4(Moline # 10A16956)? It's on a 1963 G706. My Moline manual shows a rubber "E" shaped o-ring with a "E" shaped back up ring under each wear plate. The pump I took apart has only a rubber "E" shaped o-ring under the wear plate.
Also it appears that a small round o-ring under the front wear plate is missing. If anyone out there has any experience with these pumps, I could use your help.

Webster pumps are part of Sauer Danfoss now. Look up on the web for distributor help.
If your pump got real hot, the backups (usually nylon or teflon) could have melted away. This causes the clearance in the pump to open up, and then the pump won't either suck oil up from the tank, or it won't develop much pressure.

I've rebuilt 2 pumps on Jetstars that used that E shaped O-ring. On at least one, I ended up using an E-shaped o-ring out of an old kit I had rather than the parts in the new kit. Well, it was probably 2 o-rings, one for each side.
Seems like the new kit had a thinner o-ring and a teflon like piece for each side and the total thickness was too much for the groove.

Black seal goes in the bottom. There should be
a blue K-Lon seal on top which faces the wear
plate. We probably still have some seals.
