Last November I bought a 3-14 plow. Complete coulters, hyd cylinder, trash boards etc. It had decent paint and for $200 I didn't think that was not bad. Replaced hitch bolts and other needed ones. I still have the shares and a tire yet to replace. My ? is what year and model is it? No tag or number any where. Wheels are red but should be yellow. Standard hitch pin hitch. The shafts on the wheels are like new. I'm still surprised at the bearingless wheels but trailer plows don't weigh that much. There is the word MOLINE on the back of the last 2 bottoms on the curved frame for the boards. MM on the back on the boards. Another thing that when I went to get it the guy I bought it from said that the owner before him had trash boards that were really long and curved over. Apparently they are rare and almost impossible to get?

You probably have either an AF or a DF Moline plow. An AF plow was a 2-14" that could be made into a 3-14". A DF was a 3-14" that could be made into a 4-14". You can tell the difference by looking at where the rear bottom is mounted. If the rear bottom is mounted directly behind the land wheel, it is an AF with an added bottom. It will be mounted with a bracket that angles behind the land wheel with 2 additional brackets supporting it on top.

Moline made these plows from the late 30's through the early 50's. The fact that yours has hydraulics and rubber tires would place it closer to the late 40's or early 50's. When Moline started offering hydraulics on their tractors after WW II, they also offered conversion kits to add hydraulic lift to their implements.

I was at an auction in New Prague, MN recently where an AF 3-14 hydraulic lift plow sold for $350 and a rope trip AF 3-14 sold for $275. Both were in good condition. At $200, I think you got a good deal.
