I have my dad's model J Minneapolis Moline pull type combine, powered by a 4 cylinder Waukesha engine. I would appreciate any info anyone has on when these were made and how they were powered

Well I am new to this website and forgive me if i sound stupid. I am going through all of my manuals on MM combines. I have the G G-2 G-3 Thye B,D and F and the A,E. I also have one on the Harvestor Jr, 69, G-4. I cannot find any on the J. Is the J mean Jr or is it a J.About what size of header and if you know any information about any of these combines which one does it look like. I do not know that much about the older equipment and I am just trying to figure out what it looks like.

Wasn't to many around as far as I can tell, I'm looking for same infomation. I can remember driving a U m-m to pull one with and dad got rid of them the next year. He had two of them and I thought model number was g-4??? 1948-50 vintage he also had a 1952-53 SP machine. Any info you care to share let me know and I'll do the same, I can't even find a decent pic of one

After the SP 168 came the customatic 570. It was the last of the MM built combines and painted all brown. Then came the Cockshut machines and they went back to yellow color for MM and green for Oliver.
