Plow parts rtu steering shaft

I'm looking for 2 plow shares for a 16" moline trip plow. Does anybody know where I could find some? Also on my 49 RTU the steering shaft rubs on the metal shield for the wires under the gas tank. Nothing looks bent is this common? Is there a different bracket to use to cure this? Thanks Steve

On my '48 RTU the shaft had worn completely through the shield. I think it would take a shim under the steering shaft mount to correct the problem, by moving the shaft away from the instrument housing.

As far as the plow shears go you need to identify the model of bottom you have. They differ a little in pitch between bottoms. This is if you want appropriate ones. Most likely another one will work. Some of them are CY bottoms- shears #CY162A, DA bottoms-DAC16, DY bottoms-DY162. As far as steering shaft that is not uncommon. As was explained to me, each peice was drilled individually at plant. There were not any jigs. So to correct the problem slot the holes in your column support till the steering clears. May not be by much. If will move over all ready put something in the holes so it can't slide back when tightened.
