Just thought I would let you know the outcome of the plowing contest between my friends D-17 and my UB. It took place in November but, I've been busy with my house so i'm late with the update. The D-17 ate me up. First the D-17 had a 4-bottom mounted against my 4-bottom pull-type and made me look pretty bad. Then we took turns pulling my pull-type set at about 7-8" deep which was closer. we used a stop watch and I still lost evertime we tried. I will still keep my UB because it grew on me.

Tough to beat that 226cid engine Allis put out. They have an uncanny lugging ability even though a very small engine.
